I traveled here from Burlington, Vermont in order to attend an Acroyoga Festival. There were people there from around the world and it was quite an experience on every level. We visited Jerusalem as part of our trip and being here, one can’t help but contemplate, I don’t know, spiritual matters – for lack of a better term. I grew up in Taiwan and we weren’t really religious. The closest thing we had to a holiday was Chinese New Year. That had a certain measure of ritual, but mostly it was about family. I pray for human beings to find our way back to our virtues, be reminded of our gentle nature, to witness each other’s acts of kindness, and remain flexible in times of trial and travel.
